What is Boudoir?

Boudoir Photography is the art of capturing a person’s true beauty. This type of session was widely known as “Glamour” over the years & has gone more of an intimate direction. With 204 Boudoir we love to capture women in their true comfort zone. Be it in the “everyday” sweats, over-sized shirt & messy bun with their coffee cup, Stanley, or more intimate or seductive for their significant other. We want you to feel comfortable, confident & sexy in your own skin, your own way. 204 Boudoir wants you to leave our studio with a new sense of empowerment & love for yourself.

The number one reason people shy away from doing Boudoir is because of their lack of self-confidence. Having worked with women from all walks of life, shapes, sizes, nationalities & beliefs, we understand. Our goal is to make sure that every woman leaves our studio feeling so confident that she wears it! We want you to have a new sense of Self-Acceptance, & a new understanding of just how powerful you are as a Woman, Wife, Mother, Friend.

Each of our sessions at 204 Boudoir, the top Boudoir Photography Studio in Allen / Mckinney, is designed to fit your focus & goal. We send you a questionnaire upon booking to find out exactly what you hope to achieve from your session. Based off your answers, we put together an “inspiration board” for you to try to follow, which we will tweak as the time passes leading up to your special date. Your Boudoir session will typically last form 30 minutes to 3 hours so relax and have fun!

For your Boudoir Photography Session, we offer professional hair & make up, help with wardrobe selections, and a beautiful private studio. During your session, we guide you, taking control of your session to help you come out of your “shell”.

As your session date approaches, we’ll send you additional information about your session including last minute tips, tricks, and ideas. Lisa Renee’, Boudoir Photographer, is very easy going & likes to talk “a lot” taking the pressure off the feeling that someone is concentrating on you. We play music of your choice along with wine & light snacks. These help set the mood & give good conversation. Lisa Renee' will direct you in posing & lighten the mood with a bit of joking. Remember, Boudoir doesn’t always have to be sexy/serious? It can also be sexy/FUN. We capture all moments during your session, even the ones where you think we aren’t paying attention. Have fun with your Boudoir Photography Session. Be goofy, do a silly MEOW or claw at the camera. Break out of your shell.

We do not believe in all the excessive retouching. We don’t want you to look like a completely different person. We want you to look like YOU, and FEEL gorgeous! We want you to love your images.

After your session is over, you will have the opportunity to decide which professional products you want to display your gorgeous images. 

Our Professional Products range from Professional Mounted Prints, Premium Leather Albums with thick card stock pages, to Professional Canvas in all sizes.
Our lab is a Professional Lab with the utmost Customer Service & stands by their discreet printing & privacy protection.

204 Boudoir offer’s Couple’s Boudoir as well. This type of Boudoir is more intimate & usually done as a Lifestyle Session in your home. These types of sessions can vary from 30 mins to a few hours & are amazing for a Gallery Wall above your Bed! Ask us for more details.
